Please be advised from Wednesday 1st November to Friday 17th November our kitchen shall be undergoing some essential maintenance, we shall still be serving food downstairs in both of our bars but unfortunately our A’la carte evening menu and also our Sunday Carvery will not be available. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but please feel free to ask for a copy of the menu we shall be offering or for our reception team to book you a table elsewhere in Dartmouth if you are staying in the hotel over this time period.
Weekend bookings during the summer require a two night minimum stay. Please telephone for last minute, or out of season availability at weekends.
A special tariff to include breakfast and account facilities is available for regular mid week guests. Please ask for more details.
Special programmes are available for Christmas, New Year, Regatta and Music Festival. They require a £200 deposit, which is fully refundable up to 4 weeks before arrival.
Room prices are based on two adults sharing. There is a charge for extra adults and for additional children. Please ask if you require a travel cot or a z bed.
For all advance purchase rates, special offers and sale tariffs we require full payment in advance which is non-refundable.
Room only tariffs do not include breakfast which is available as an upsell for £10.50 per person.
Throughout the year, when booked online, we require full payment for your first nights’ stay to secure a booking, which is then deducted against the account on departure. Advanced purchase rates booked online require full payment in advance and are non-refundable.
If booked over the telephone we will take a £60 deposit which is then deducted against the account on departure. If you cancel your booking less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival your deposit will be retained. In the event of a non-arrival and no notification from yourself we reserve the right to recover the full amount owing for your accommodation. Christmas, New Year, Easter, Music Festival and Dartmouth Regatta are special events in the annual calendar and are subject to a £200 deposit per room with a cancellation time period of four weeks prior to the event.
We make no service charge and all prices are per room (except for some special breaks) and include VAT @ 20%.
Check in is at 2:00pm on the day of arrival and we ask that on your day of departure you vacate your room by 11:00am. If you arrive before 2:00pm then we will take your luggage and park your car.
Guests are liable for and shall indemnify the hotel for any acts or omissions by the guest (whether or not intentional) which results in damage to the hotel, including but not limited to, damage caused as a result of negligence, deliberate damage or recklessness (and the hotel will use its reasonable endeavours to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs in order to minimise and costs incurred by the guest.)
The guest is liable for the cost of replacing any items which the guest removes from the premises without the hotels consent.
In the event that the hotel becomes aware of damage to property or loss of possessions after the guest has departed, the hotel reserves the right to make a charge to the guests credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the relevant amount to the guest which shall be payable with 15 days of the date of invoice.
We have private parking with a valet service available, for which we make no charge. We also hold permits for the town car park, available with a refundable deposit of £20.00.
We accept well-behaved pets at a rate of £10.00 per dog per night. We reserve the right to charge for any damages.
No smoking is permitted in the building. There will be a £60.00 penalty for non-compliance.
Guests must adhere to policies and procedures implemented by the hotel, including, but not limited to, health and safety and security procedures.
Guests must not bring any illegal or hazardous substances into the hotel.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The management have the right to refuse to serve and/or require a guest to leave the premises when the hotel believes the guest to be behaving in an unacceptable manner. The hotel shall not be liable to pay any compensation or make any refund to a guest in these circumstances.
Should the guest accept the offer of the hotel to provide the services, the guest and hotel shall be bound by these conditions of the mutual promises and undertakings which are contained within these conditions. Payment of any deposits in respect of the services and/or signature by the guest of the hotels registration card, shall constitute the guests unqualified acceptance of the services subject to these conditions.
