The Galleon Bar
Our famous classic lounge bar where a log fire burns in the cooler months. This bar is traditionally the natural meeting place for both locals and visitors to Dartmouth who enjoy the ambience and atmosphere of this historic old hostelry which has been offering hospitality to locals and travellers since the 17th century.Today a wide variety of beers, wines and spirits are available and a traditional menu of home cooked meals and specials are served throughout the day. Lighter snacks and sandwiches are also available and a selection of coffees, speciality teas and cakes.

Open from 9am - 11pm everyday
We serve food from 9am until 10pm every single day in the Galleon Bar! Please see our attached full menus and remember that we also have a Sandwich of the Week, a Dish of the Week, a Catch of the Day and plenty of daily specials as well.
Firm favourites include our home battered cod and chips, different pies every week, a trio of local sausages with mashed potato and onion gravy, and a fabulous roast belly pork with crackling!
Days to Remember:
Tuesday is Curry Night every week - a choice of four curries, rice, poppadoms and sundries as an all you can eat buffet for just £9.45. From 6pm.
Saturday is Salt Beef day - with a choice of a salt beef bap or a meal served at lunchtime only.
Sunday is our Sunday Roast Day - with roast beef and roast pork on every sunday, served with roast potatoes and all the trimmings! From 11.30-10pm
In the Winter we have our famous spit roats served in a bap or as a meal at lunchtimes only.
