The hotel: The Royal Castle Hotel is over 300 years old with both bars serving food and drink, and the main reception are situated on the ground floor. All of these areas can be accessed on one level from the main ground floor entrance by wheelchair if necessary, which leads onto the main street. The hotel welcomes dogs and there is a Disabled Toilet on the ground floor. Our menu is extensive and special diets can be catered for. Regrettably there are stairs to all of the 25 bedrooms, which are situated over three floors and the main restaurant is situated on the first floor of the hotel. There is no lift. Staff are always on hand to offer any assistance to guests as required including complimentary guest valet parking in the hotel's car park and of course full lporterage to guest bedrooms. « Back to home page
